When should you adjust image colors?
Color and exposure adjustments are useful when your photos are too dark, have a strong yellow/blue cast, or when a set of product photos look inconsistent. Tweaking brightness, contrast, saturation and temperature helps fix casual smartphone shots, polish ecommerce images and create a consistent look for social media posts.

Recommended ranges and color grading tips
As a rule of thumb, keep brightness and contrast adjustments within about -30 to +30 to avoid washed-out or overly harsh results. A small boost in saturation (around +10 to +20) usually makes colors pop without looking fake, especially for product photos and portraits.
